Fedor Emelianenko is a russian mma heavyweight fighter who is consider the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. He was ranked #1 in the heavyweight division for a long time. His record is 32-2 but before his last lost to his resent opponent. Fedor wasn't beaten for 9 years until 2010. He is also the current Pride champion and has beated former UFC champions.
Brock Lesner was ranked #1 for heavyweight when Fedor lost to his resent opponent. His record is 5-2 Lesner is a big strong wrestler who beated Randy Couture (also a very well known wrestler) for the UFC heavyweight champion. Brock went on and beated Frank Mir (former UFC heavyweight champion) on UFC 100 and controlled the whole fight. People were saying Brock was going to be unstoppable.
Both fighters were on top of their game and fans wanted to see these two fighters go at it and wanted to see who would win if they both met in the ring or octagon. At the time, both fighters were fighting for different organization. Fedor was fighting in Strikeforce while Brock was fighting for the UFC.
Back then, I would had thought this would had been a good fight for the fans. Brock did seem to be unstoppable and same goes for Fedor too. But now that both of these two fighters are coming out of a lost. But I think that the Fedor lost was a fluke and Brock's lost was because he's not that well of a fighter yet. Lesner is still inexperience in mma and still has a lot of to learn. If these two fighters did meet up in a ring or octagon, I would definitely put my money on Fedor.

UFC and WEC
UFC the biggest mma promotion company owned by Zuffa. It contains the best fighters who compete to be the best pound-for-pound figther in the world. UFC is the best mma organization and they have proven that it is the best. Other mma organizations couldn't compete with the UFC. If they did ever try to, they would get out of business or get bought by the UFC.
WEC haven't been out of business because it is also own by Zuffa. But WEC is not as big as UFC because WEC was made after UFC. It's ranked number 2 for best mma organization after UFC. WEC contains some of the best fighters usually the lighter weight classes.
Most of the fans always wants to see some of the fighters from both of the organization fight with each other to see who is better. Usually most fans want to see how some of the best fighter from WEC would do with UFC fighters. A lot of the fans wanted WEC to merge with UFC and now their dream will come true.
UFC and WEC are merging together. It's going to be big for the company because both of the organization was already big. Now it's going to be huge and most mma organization are going to have hard time competing with both of them merging. Myself as a big fan cannot wait until fighters from both of the organization fight with each other.

St. Pierre vs. Koscheck II
When St. Pierre and Koscheck fought for the first time, St. Pierre won by a unanimous decision. St. Pierre was making his way up again because this fight was after he lost his belt to Matt Serra. Josh Koscheck was a top contender who was making his way up for the Welterweight belt. A win over Georges St. Pierre would have made him the number one contender.
I believe that St. Pierre won because he was the more skillful fighter and was a better fighter then. Koscheck was a former collegiate wrestling champion and was consider as the best wrestler in the UFC then. But to see St. Pierre out wrestling Koscheck shows that St. Pierre is a better all around fighter than Koscheck.
Koscheck is a whole different fighter now. He's more experience, more stronger and better with his boxing too now. I believe he may have a chance of beating St. Pierre in their second rematch. I'm pretty sure he has learned his mistakes from his first fight with St. Pierre. Koscheck doesn't want to make the same mistake again.
In the end, I still believe that St. Pierre is still going to win the second fight with Koscheck. Even though Koscheck has learn his mistakes from the first fight, I'm pretty sure that St. Pierre is going to make Koscheck do the same mistake. St. Pierre is known for going in with a gameplan and nails it. St. Pierre's hand is going to be the one who is going to get raised.

B.J Penn work ethics
B.J. Penn is one of the best fighter to be in mma. He is so well rounded that makes him such a dangerous fighter. Most fighters fears to go in the octogon with him. When you hear the name B.J. Penn, you think of one of the greatest. Fighters will always say they are always honor to fight him and to be in his presents.
B.J. Penn is known to be a light-weight fighter. In his earlier fights, he would jump around weight classes. Now that he's getting older and trying to move up and down with his weight. I can see that it's getting hard for him and with his work out ethics. It doesn't look good at all for him. His resent fights with Edger, showed that he isn't training how he's suppose to be; training hard. But this is a typical for him because when it comes to working hard, he gets lazy.
When Penn did work hard and stayed in shape, he looked unstopped. It seemed as if no one can stop him. You give him anyone and he'll destroy them and make it look flawess. When B.J. Penn was in this stage, he was consider as the pound-for-pound fighter in the world. The B.J. Penn that works hard is the one who we love to watch and will know for sure that he'll put on a show for everybody.
I still believe that he is still the best light-weight fighter in the world. If he works hard like he use to then he can and will be the best again. But the only thing is that everyone knows that he slacks off on his trainings. He's never really serious about his trainings and never really works hard. I believe there will be no fighters that can ever beat hard worker B.J. Penn

Lesnar vs. Velasquez
I'm picking Lesnar winning this fight. I don't know but I just have a strong feeling that he's going to win. Even though he doesn't have as much experience as his opponent. Lesnar is 5-1 and Velasquez is undefeated with a record of 8-0.
Velasquez is a really good fighter and has a really good chance of beating Lesnar. He has a really good wrestling background and he's also great with his boxing. But he is just a little bit to small for his weight class. But I wouldn't be surprised if Velasquez wins the fight.
I think Lesnar is going to win is because I believe he has a better wrestling game. He can probably out wrestle Velasquez and put him on his back. There's no way Velasquez can take Lesnar to the ground because Lesnar is just way too big and way too strong for Velzasquez.
So I'm pretty much know how the fight is going down. They test each other out and box for a bit. Then Lensar backs Velasquez back to the cage and that's when Lensar will push aganist on Velasquez using all his weight on Velasquez to tired him out. Lensar then makes a quick and explosive take down and gets Velasquez on his back and ground and pounds him. The ref. stops the fight and Lensar's hands get raise in the end.

Penn vs. Hughes III
Before I go on and tell what my thoughts are. I would like to tell you about their history together. Penn met up with Hughes in the octogon in 2004, UFC 46. B.J. Penn was a 155 pound light-weight contender jumping up weight class to welterweight. Matt Hughes was a five time defending champion.
Matt Hughes was consinder the best welterweight fighter back then. B.J. Penn was also one of the best light-weight fighter. In UFC 46, Penn and Hughes stepped in the octogon and battled it out. Penn won by a rear naked choke in the first round. The second time they met, it was on UFC 63. Hughes won by TKO.
Now these two top fighter will meet again for the third time on UFC 123 to settle the score. This will be a really interesting fight. B.J. Penn was the king in the light-weight devision but suffer a back-to-back lost to Frankie Edger. Hughes lost two fights but is rebounding back with three wins. So, now these two fighters have won one battle with each other. We will see who will win the war.
If I was to pick out the outcoming. I would pick B.J. Penn to win this fight. His standup figthing is much better and his takedown defense is amazing. But, it only depends which B.J. Penn is going to show up. The B.J. Penn that look gased and looked really slow or the really well condition B.J. Penn. Hopefully he comes out healthy and well conditioned.

UFC 119: Mir vs. CroCop
To start this off, this fight card is mediocre and it's on pay-per-veiw. The undercards are interesting but not convincing enough to want to buy it. Maybe to others are interesting but not to me.
The main event card is good. I would like to see that fight, but I think it shouldn't have been the main event for UFC 119. Not to disrepect Jay Silva(fighting matchmaking) but it would been more appropriate to have it be co-main event. But that's just in my opinion.
As for the fight, Mir vs. CroCop. I think Mir is going to take the victory. He is bigger, stronger, and has most of the skills set to be CroCop. CroCop's kickboxing is really good but I think Mir's boxing is going to take the fight. Mir's boxing has improved so much that I belive that it's better than CroCop's. Mir can also take CroCop to the ground and if it does hit to the ground, it would be a quick fight for CroCop because his ground game is not so morally excellent. Mir's groundgame is more superior than CroCop.
So this is my thoughts of UFC 119: Mir vs. CroCop. We will have to see if this pay-per-view will be a big blow out. And for the main event, we will see who will come out with the win.
