Penn vs. Hughes III

Before I go on and tell what my thoughts are. I would like to tell you about their history together. Penn met up with Hughes in the octogon in 2004, UFC 46. B.J. Penn was a 155 pound light-weight contender jumping up weight class to welterweight. Matt Hughes was a five time defending champion.

Matt Hughes was consinder the best welterweight fighter back then. B.J. Penn was also one of the best light-weight fighter. In UFC 46, Penn and Hughes stepped in the octogon and battled it out. Penn won by a rear naked choke in the first round. The second time they met, it was on UFC 63. Hughes won by TKO.

Now these two top fighter will meet again for the third time on UFC 123 to settle the score. This will be a really interesting fight. B.J. Penn was the king in the light-weight devision but suffer a back-to-back lost to Frankie Edger. Hughes lost two fights but is rebounding back with three wins. So, now these two fighters have won one battle with each other. We will see who will win the war.

If I was to pick out the outcoming. I would pick B.J. Penn to win this fight. His standup figthing is much better and his takedown defense is amazing. But, it only depends which B.J. Penn is going to show up. The B.J. Penn that look gased and looked really slow or the really well condition B.J. Penn. Hopefully he comes out healthy and well conditioned.

UFC 119: Mir vs. CroCop

To start this off, this fight card is mediocre and it's on pay-per-veiw. The undercards are interesting but not convincing enough to want to buy it. Maybe to others are interesting but not to me.

The main event card is good. I would like to see that fight, but I think it shouldn't have been the main event for UFC 119. Not to disrepect Jay Silva(fighting matchmaking) but it would been more appropriate to have it be co-main event. But that's just in my opinion.

As for the fight, Mir vs. CroCop. I think Mir is going to take the victory. He is bigger, stronger, and has most of the skills set to be CroCop. CroCop's kickboxing is really good but I think Mir's boxing is going to take the fight. Mir's boxing has improved so much that I belive that it's better than CroCop's. Mir can also take CroCop to the ground and if it does hit to the ground, it would be a quick fight for CroCop because his ground game is not so morally excellent. Mir's groundgame is more superior than CroCop.

So this is my thoughts of UFC 119: Mir vs. CroCop. We will have to see if this pay-per-view will be a big blow out. And for the main event, we will see who will come out with the win.

Being a Uncle

I have always wanted to be a uncle just because I have always wanted little nephews and nieces. My uncles are cool guys and I have always looked up to them and when I was little I wanted to be like them. I also want my little nephews and nieces to look up to me and see me as a good role model.

If my sisters or or brothers ever have a kid, I hope it's a boy. I always wanted to have a nephew because it's like having a little baby brother. I don't mind having a niece but I perfer to have a nephew though. I want to be the cool uncle that they would want to come over and want me to babysit them.

I don't mind if I have a nieces, then I can be the "I'm going to beat up every boy that trys to talk to you or make fun of you" uncle type. I would like to be the very protected uncle and let her get away with stuff because she would be a sweetheart. So to think of it, I really don't mind if I have a nephew or a niece. I'm fine with both of them.

When I do become a uncle, I want to be their role model and also be their best friend. I want to be the type of uncles that will always be there from them and want them to be comfortable with me about talking about problems that they might have. But if my niece have boy problems, then that's a different story. I just want to be the "COOL UNCLE".

Penn vs. Edgar II

Penn vs. Edgar I was a really interesting fight. The fight was a five rounds and fight minutes long. It could had gone either way. But in the judges's eyes, it was Edgar who came out victorious. But to the people's eyes, it could had been a draw.

To me, I can see Edgar winning the fight because he was more active and he was landing and actually took BJ Penn down. Edgar was really good at moving in angles and being quick on his feet which tired Penn down. I'm not quite sure but I think Edgar did more damage to Penn's face.

But I can see it becoming a draw because Penn was landing more with the stiff jabs. The stiff jabs was really effected and Edgar couldn't really come close to Penn. I think that Penn probably landed more punches and hurted Edgar more. So that's why I think it could had been a draw.

Penn is the best light-weight and one of the best pound-for-pound fighter in mma. But in that fight, it was really noticable that he wasn't in shape and was gasing out in the fight. He is known for not training as hard as he is or other mma should be training. I was really disappointed at his proformance because I think if he was in shape he could had won the fight easily.

So, that's why there is going to be a Penn vs. Edgar II. I'm glad that Penn is going to get a rematch because I want him to win and reclaim what is his. And also because I'm a big fan of BJ Penn. Hopefully BJ Penn is training hard for his fight and not like his first fight with Edgar.

Learned From It

I remember a time when I was a little kid, my cousins and I went to go visit some of our relatives. Our relatives lived on a farm and had a whole mess of animals like; chickens, pigs, goats, and a dog. My cousins and I always loved to go there just to see that animals and hang out with my relatives.

My relatives had this one dog. For some reason, I didn't like that dog because how it looked and the type of the dog. There was a time when I kept bothering it and throwing stuff at it. I would throw dog food and little tiny rocks at it. When I kept on throwing at it, all of a sudden the dog came right after me. But luckily, it was on a leash so I got really lucky on that one because I know if it was loose it would had bite me for sure.

I knew the dog hated me and just wanted to tore me into shreds. Everytime I walked by it or just whenever it saw me, it would growl and bark at me. I don't blame it that it hated me. If I was the dog and someone kept throwing rocks and dog food at me, I would like to bite their toes off or something that would really hurt them. So I understand that it hated me and probably hated me with a passion.

When one of my cousin and I was just walking around the yard, we heard something. The something we heard was the damn dog. It came straight right at us. We were running for our lives and we decided to spilt up but that was a really dumb idea because it came after me which I know why he picked me instead of my cousin. But luckily, my uncle; the owner of the dog came just in time to grab the dog before it got to me.

Since that day, I've learned not to mistreat any dogs anymore. I certainly do not want another experience of a dog chasing after me. I've learned my lesson and do not want it to happen again.

UFC 112

UFC 112 was suppose to be the UFC card of the year. They had the two best fighter fighting on the same day which made this card the "Dream fight card". Besides that, they also had great under cards fight that made this card even more interesting to watch.

I know for sure that other people said UFC 112 was worth watching on pay-perview. They had Anderson Silva, the best pound-for-pound fighter in mix martial art and also had BJ Penn, the best lightweight fighter fighting on UFC 112. But the thing was that UFC 112 was not worth watching.

UFC 112 was a waste of my time watching it. The only reason why most of the people that bought it on pay-perview was to watch Anderson Silva and BJ Penn to put on a show. Both of these fighter did not put on a show. BJ Penn showed a horrrible proformance. He wasn't himself and we all know that he was not even in shape to fight. He didn't even seem like he wanted to win the fight. That's why disgusting his proformance was. And for Anderson Silva, he put on a show for the first and second fight but the other rounds was a disgrace. All he did on the other round was showboating and running around the ring like a clown. He could have finish the fight in the first or second round if he wanted to but he chose not to. To me, I think that it was really disrespectful what he showed to his opponent and made the UFC and the sport bad.

If I had something to say to them. All I have to say is, "Give me my money back"!
