As we all know, education is very important. Education to some people, is the answer to your life. We all know that as we grow older, we learn new and more advance learning skills in school. We first go to preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, and then college. But in the end, high school and college are the more difficult for everyone. So comparing high school and college, which one is harder?
For high school, I hear a lot of high school student complaining about how hard high school is and how projects and papers they have to do and write. I also complained myself too saying how hard high school was. High school was hard back then in my eyes. You always had teachers on your back about your homework, projects, and papers. Also, you had to show up to school because if you decide to skip a class or the whole entire day; school will call your house letting your parents know which sucked a lot.
Now as for college, its a whole different ball game. College, you have your freedom. Instead of calling them teachers, you call them professors or doctors. But as for your homework, projects, and papers, professors are never on your back. They pretty much remind you when is the due date and that's pretty much it. So it's either you want to do it or you don't want to do it.
So in the end, in my eyes it's a no brainer. College is way much harder than high school and I'm sure everyone agrees with me. Even though you have the choice and your freedom in college, you have to work twice as hard or maybe three times as hard. I hear high school student complaining about how much they have to write for their papers and I would ask them how much they would have to write and they would say at least a 2 page long paper. I would tell them they have it easy because for college you would have to write 4-8 or even more pages. I regret not taking high school seriously because high school kind of prepares you for college. My advice for high school students and students that are going to be in high school in the future, appreciate high school and do your best in it.

Books or Movies
When a very interesting book comes out and grabs people's attention. A movie is usually made afterwards. But there is always a comparison to see which one is better. People are always comparing to see if the movie lives up to it's hype or to be as good as the book. There's always two side, some people prefer the movies and some prefers the book. When reading the book, the person can fantasize while reading the book and for the movie; it makes it for the person. So which one is better, the movie or the book?
For the book warms, it's easy to say that they would choose the book any day over the movie. A lot of people would say that the movie didn't live up to the book. Also would say that the book was way better because the movie left out a lot of details and I do agree with that. But most books are like 200 or plus pages so it could have all the details in there.
For the movie, some does live up to it's hype. But when I watch the movie I think it's pretty good. I mean, it does leave a lot of details and all but I can understand because the movie is limited. The movie has about 2 hours to put in everything in so I can understand why the movie doesn't have all the details like the book.
But as for me, I would choose the book over the movie. Even though I'm not a big reader but when I do read the book and watch the movie. The book is a lot better because it tells you every details that you need to know. Also, while you're reading, you can make everything up in your head such as how the characters look and whatever that the book has it.

Rich and Famous or Just Rich
In general, every person dreams of
being wealthy or either famous. I’m sure there are times when you talk among
with your siblings or friends asking each other that question, “Would you
rather be rich and famous or just rich”? Thinking to myself, that’s a pretty
good question. I would hear from both side saying they would want to be rich
and famous or they just want to be rich they both would have a good point to
each side.
For an example, Justin Bieber is a
worldwide famous celebrity but is unable to have a casual teen lifestyle. There
are always paparazzi following him around and snapping his pictures and
invading his personal life. To add on to that, he has crazy fan that would go
nuts over for him screaming their lungs just to get his attention. Whereas Bill
Gate is filthy rich but you don’t see him on the tabloid and his personal space
isn’t being invaded by paparazzi. Bill Gates is well known but isn’t really
considered as a celebrity.
As for me, I wouldn’t mind being
rich and famous. Being rich and famous is pretty much what you want to be when
you grow up. You want your pictures to be taken and have fans yelling your
name. Having little kids looking up to you as a good role model and wanted to
be just like you. Set a good example of how to carry yourself and they’ll catch
on and hopefully be like that. So as for being rich and famous, I wouldn’t mind
it.
For being just wealthy, I would
choose that over being rich and famous. The reason why I would choose of being
rich over being rich and famous is because I still want to have my personal
space. I’m those types of people who like my space to be respected and also I
don’t need all that fame. Just knowing the fact that my parents don’t have to
work in a day in their life is good enough for me. Also making sure my parents
are living like kings and I’m sure all kids want their parents to be living in
a good life. So my choice is to be just rich and one day I hope to be
successful and make sure my family does live a good life.

Single or Mingle
When you were younger, either boy or girl, to one of them, they had coodies or just did not like them because they were the opposite gender. Then as you grow older in your teens, you start to understand the other gender a little bit more and start to grow feeling. For an example, a crush and being in a relationship consider as "puppy love". When you get older, you start to understand what a relationship really is.
Being single is consider to "living the life" because you have no one to hold you back. I would hear that from a lot of people that being single is the best way to go and especially when you're young. But at the same time, other people would say to me that being in a relationship is the way to go. Being in a relationship keeps you grounded and finding love is great. But then, the person that is single and saying being single is the way to go, he or she would at times get sad because he or she is not in a relationship. For some people that are in the relationship, they at times wish they were single at times. Both parties are telling me many different things about, single or being mingled. I'll give out of what I think which is better, being single or being in a relationship.
Single life is the "living the life" because you really do not have anybody holding you back hanging out with your friends at a party or just saying, "no" period. But I think being single is kind of lonely at times. Yeah you have your friends there but friends aren't always going to be there because they do have things to do. For family, yes family will always be there and will always love you but it's different from being loved by someone else like a girlfriend or boyfriend.
Being in a relationship to me is better than being single. O.K., I may be just bias because I'm in a relationship but it's because of that I think being in a relationship is better. Whenever I'm down, I know I can always call my partner to cheer me up or be there to just talk about it. Also, you don't have to worry about dates for events. Another thing is that you're being loved by someone else besides your friends and family but a different kind of love and care. Just holding hands and talking endlessly about random things. Growing a bond that is untouchable and talking about your future together is a warm fuzzy feeling.
Many people can argue with me on this topic and say that I'm wrong. But I don't blame them of saying I'm wrong or stuff because it's my opinion and there isn't really a right or wrong answer to this topic. I honestly believe it really depends on the person or people. In my opinion, I believe being in a relationship is better than being single. But the end of the day, I hope everybody will find love.

Boxers vs. MMA fighters
Watching combat sports are always fun to watch. But learning it is even better. When watching either boxing or MMA, it makes you want to learn it and do what you see on T.V. Even way back then, fighting has been a sport and people would love to watch it or learning it and as time go by. There are more and more fighting styles that are being taught.
Boxing has been one of the most popular combat sports to learn. Every body knows boxing, so boxing is your typical combat sports to learn with along side with karate. But a boxer can only use his hand to fight. He/she cannot use anything else. If they kicked, elbow, knee, or wrestle their opponent. Most likely they will be disqualify.
MMA is now the fastest growing sports in the world. It's now being also one of the most popular combat sports to learn. MMA can use knees, punches, throws, elbow, and grapple. MMA is pretty much the whole total package for combat sports.
In my opinion, I think that a MMA fighter can go into boxing and do well with other boxers. I believe they can compete with other boxers and can possibly win a boxer in his own game. A MMA fighter does have to learn boxing if he/she wants to be a good MMA fighter because you have to learn all the aspect of fighting. They have to learn to fight on their feet and off their feets which mean on the ground.
Now, if a boxer was to go into MMA. He/she will lose and will lose badly. I think so is because a boxer will not know what to do if he/she is being taken down to the grown. If the MMA fighter was to wrestle the boxer down, he/she will be lost and will not know what to do. Also, it has been already proven that boxers will not do well in MMA. A boxer tried going to MMA and compete with MMA fighters and he got destroy in a MMA fight. So, in my eyes, a boxer can't really go into MMA and compete with them and a MMA fighter can go into boxing and compete with boxers.

MMA vs. Boxing
I love watching combat sport. They have to be one of the most entertaining sports to watch. I just love how intense the fight is and what the fighters do to pump up the fight. It is so entertaining when the fighters promote their fights by smack talking with each other. It is always fun what each of the fighter have to say about each other and how they are going react towards one another.
Boxing has been a long time sports that everyone love to watch. It also has to be one of the longest and oldest combating sports that exist. Boxing was one time one of the most popular sports to watch. This sport is the father of combat sports. Lately, boxing hasn't been as popular as it used to be. It's now sometimes consider as a dying sport because no one isn't really paying too much attention to it any more. There are about maybe five good boxers that people will pay attention to. But once those boxers aren't fighting then no one doesn't really care too much about it. Also, the paper-per-view is too expensive. Even though there are at least four fights in a boxing card. People are really paying just to see the main event card.
MMA is the world's fastest growing sports. It's also the closest thing to a real street fight. Now MMA has been growing all over the world. For MMA, it's less expensive and there are usually ten to twelve fight cards on it. And the fights are always entertaining because anything can happen in a MMA fight. MMA is not a one dimensional sports where it you stand up all the time and just punch your opponent. In MMA, there are, jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, boxing, muay Thai, karate, tae-kwon-do and more other martial arts that are involved that makes this sports so entertaining to watch.
In my opinion, MMA is a lot more entertaining to watch than boxing. I love to watch boxing but boxing can be a boring at times. The only time I'll watch boxing is when either Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather are fighting on that fight card. If not, I don't really follow boxing that much. For MMA, I follow it because I'm a hardcore fan. I can watch all the fights cards and not be bored. Even when the MMA fighters are not that well known, I can still watch it and not be bored at all. I love watching MMA because all the martial arts are combined together and you see all of them being used. That's why I prefer watching MMA over boxing.

Ribs
One of my favorite food is ribs. Ever since I was a little kid I fell in love with ribs. Ribs has to be one of my all time favorite food to get when I go and eat out. What's not to like about ribs? It's delicious when you take that bite and taste all the nice juicy flavors. Ribs are so mouth watering and especially when you see the waiter or waitress bring ribs to the group of people that sits next to you.
I've been to few places that serve ribs. I went to Apple Bee's, Chili, Texas Road House, and Famous Dave's. Out of all those places I've went to, I like Famous Dave's ribs by far. Some people my disagree with me on which one has the best ribs. But Famous Dave's ribs won me over.
Apple Bee's ribs used to be good but lately it's been really disappointing. It seem that Apple Bee's has changed how they do their ribs. The ribs there are not thick or juicy and that's what ribs are all about, thick and very juicy with brust of flavor. It's thin and the color on their ribs have no color. It seem as if they just grilled it and served it with little seasonings. Also what I don't like about their ribs is that they cut it up peice by peice now. Another thing about ribs is that you rip it off yourself and eat it. That's why I'm not a fan of Apple Bee's ribs anymore.
For Chili, It's not bad or anything. To me, it's actually pretty good. But the size of it is still kind of small to me. It's also thin but have nice flavor to it. I don't mind getting ribs at Chili but too expensive for it's size.
Texas Road House has good ribs. I like it very much because they give you a good amount of food there and their ribs taste very good. It has a nice sauce flavor that makes you keep wanting to have more. Texas Road House's ribs are a little bit bigger than Apple Bee's and Chili's ribs. I say Texas Road House ribs is worth your money if you order it. Can't really go wrong with Texas Road House's ribs.
Now Famous Dave's ribs are by far the best out of all the rib place I went. It beats Apple Bee's, Chili, and Texas Road House's ribs if you were to combine them all together and it still wouldn't be as good as Famous Dave's. Famous Dave's ribs are very thick, nice, juicy, and with mouth brusting flavor of sauce. What I also like about their ribs is that it's a man's food but can be a women too. The full rack can make you full and it will be full-filling. Everytime when I go to Milwaukee and visit my brothers and sisters, I have to get some of Famous Dave's ribs.

Being an uncle
Growing up as a kid, I always looked up to my uncles. They would be another father figure for me. I mean I love my dad and he's my number one role model and also my hero, but uncles to me are like more towards friends and brothers area. They will always look after you because we're family but can also joke around and be just guys and be stupid.
Now that I'm all grown up, I want to be an uncle myself. Seeing so much people having nieces and nephews makes me want to have some of my own. I'll always be telling me sisters and them to hurry up and have kids so I can have little brats to take care of and spoil them like crazy. If I was to have a niece, I would treat her like a little princess and spoil her whatever she wants. But if I had a nephew, I would still spoil him but treat him differently from my niece. I mean, treating him not in a bad way at all but a different way of discipline.
I would be more tough on my nephews because when I grew up, I had it pretty tough time. I would always be the smallest but having my uncles pick on me made me tougher. I'm not sure if this fit for every guys or just me but it did made me who I am today. I'm not saying all nephews should be treated this way because it depends on the family. For me, I would just be more tough on my nephew if he was to be a trouble maker, I would raise my voice. I would never lay a hand on them at all. It's just not accpectable at all. I would pick on him and wrestle with him but that would be all as for being tougher on my nephew. But I would want him to like me more than my brothers, so be the cooler uncle.
For my nieces, like I said before. I would treat her like a little princess. Even if she was to be acting like a brat, I would let her get her way. I'm not sure but I guess it's different for boys and girls. I wouldn't raise my voice on her if I really have to but it would be rarely.
I guess for me, gender does matter of how you want to discipline your kid. I wouldn't know because I don't have kids of my own and I also don't have nieces and nephews of my own so I can't say much. I would treat both of them differently but not in a bad way. I just can't wait to have little nieces and nephews of my own to call my booger brats. Having them coming over so I can babysit them and just having them to run to my arms and calling me uncle Lister.

UFC 137 Penn Vs. Diaz
On October 29, 2011, two top walterweight contenders; B.J. Penn and Nick Diaz was highlighted in the main event to fight each other in UFC 137. It was one card to watch because two big named fighters are stepping in the same octagon and are facing each other to see who is the better fighter on that night. If B.J. Penn or Nick Diaz win on that night would have most likely to get a chance to fight for the walterweight champion. It was a good fight and Nick Diaz pulled out the victory in the end. He was the better fighter on that night.
It was pretty disappointing to see B.J. Penn lose on that night. I was cheering for Penn to win that fight against Diaz. Also, I was cheering for Penn because he is one of my favorite fighter to watch in the octagon. It was heartbreaking to see Penn getting picked apart by Diaz. To see one of my favorite fighter to lose to a fighter I also I didn't like that much was very disrupting.
Both of them put up a good fight but I personaly believe Diaz proformed a whole lot better than Penn. As much as it hurt me to say this but he did. Diaz picked him apart round by round. Also Diaz being the taller and having the longer reach made it very difficult for Penn to engaged. With Diaz using his long reach and landing the more and cleaner shots, he won with a fashonable unanimous decision.
I believed Penn could had won the fight. In my eyes, Penn could had won the fight if he had a better cardio. Even in my other post, I would criticize his cardio because that's all he lacks. In the first round he fought Diaz, he looked really good with his boxing. He was out boxing Diaz and was countering Diaz with clean and beautiful punches to the head. By the second and third round, Penn was gassed out and Diaz took advantage of that.
It showed in the first round that Penn was winning the fight because he wasn't gassed. Penn is a very talented fighter but talent can take you so far. He relies on his talent too much. Now if you throw in hard work with talent, that can take you forever. It was that one thing that could had made Penn that winner that night and it was cardio which that is what he lacks the most.
